Today, we left the East coast and with this the Pacific westwards – here, in Dorrigo NP you are already amidst the\u00a0„Great Dividing Range“,\u00a0 the big mountain range that divides the coast from the flat outback. On the horizon you can guess the sea behind the forested mountains.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A bit south of Coff’s Harbour the so-called Waterfall Way starts, direction Armidale. First you come to Bellingen, a small, nice town, where we buy some souvenirs (nice woodworks) and have a coffee.<\/p>\n

Then we continue to Dorrigo NP, where we visit the first two waterfalls. This is Crystal Falls – you can walk behind the falls – what we of course did….<\/p>\n

The next waterfall is Dangar Falls, a bit north of the village Dorrigo.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

From there , the New England Tablelands extend until Amidale, the highest town in Australia. The tablelands (with its cattle all over) remind us of southern Germany, a region called Allgaeu.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Of the then coming waterfall we liked most the Ebor Falls:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It has two steps. The one further up is hardly to see on the picture, but from closer really interesting.<\/p>\n

The last fall we saw today, the Wollomombi Falls, were difficult to take a picture of as the sun was only still shining on the upper part.\u00a0Here <\/a>is a picture from the internet.<\/p>\n

Wendelin had to use the toilet after the walk. As he grapped the toilet paper, a very special guest emerges from the roll:<\/p>\n

The place we choose for tonight in Armidale is a bit outside town in a quiet vinery \/ guesthouse Petersons. Here\u00a0<\/a>you can have a look at it. It’s a cosy place for one night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
