Today, we did a wonderful hike – but first of all a PS on yesterday: In spite of the rain and the thunder, we were able to grill our yummy Australian shrimps later on. We used the kitchen shed of the campground.<\/p>\n
But we were happy to stay over night in the little, wooden cabins, managed by the nearby Lodge.<\/p>\n

Next morning, we pitch up the tent and we tried our new camping chairs…<\/p>\n
Finally, it was about noon, as we started to hike – so it was far to late for the long trail to the Coomera falls and further on. But the Park is really nice – and we decide to do the shorter „Dave’s Creek Loop“ – and maybe tomorrow the long one – that means to stay another night.<\/p>\n

The Trails in the Lamington NP are again well maintained – it’s impossible to get lost. Nevertheless, we don’t meet hardly any other hiker\u00a0 – only close to the trail head, were all the tracks begin.<\/p>\n

Our efforts are grated by impressing views – here we look from the hight of the national park to the east, direction to the sea.<\/p>\n
On our way, we see many birds, that all do curious sounds – one like a whip, the other sounds like a crying baby.<\/p>\n
Remarkable the black lizards on the way – here we met two, enjoying the sun in front of their cave:<\/p>\n

But, after all even the longest 14 km end -and we reward ourselves with a sundowner – a cold beer for the sunset. Later, we cook again – and then we long for the air mattress!<\/p>\n
